    Abstract:

The study employed the mold hot pressing encapsulation method to embed fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors into a miniature glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) composite. Experimental results confirmed the feasibility of using miniature GFRP-FBG sensors to monitor the epoxy resin curing process. Additionally, the sensors exhibited excellent linearity and repeatability in load monitoring. These findings offer important insights for optimizing the encapsulation process and further advancing the use of GFRP-FBG sensors in material monitoring applications.
